Kara Bordeau

Licensed Massage Therapist

Kara graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. Furthering her interest in fitness, health and well-being, Kara then attended River Valley Community College in Claremont, NH and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Massage Therapy. Upon completion of her Massage Therapy degree, she completed the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) and obtained her New Hampshire Massage Therapy License. 

In 2010 Kara moved back to her home town of Plattsburgh, NY and worked for 10 years at the CVPH Wellness and Fitness Center as a Fitness Specialist, Group Exercise Instructor, and Swim Coach. The last 4 years she served as the Center Director of the facility prior to the permanent closing of the Center in September 2020. 

Eager to re-enter her Massage Therapy Profession, Kara obtained her New York State Massage Therapy License and Registration in March 2021. Through her extensive background in fitness, exercise, and sports recovery, Kara brings these adjacent skills to her Massage Therapy Practice. 

Kara leads a lifestyle of fitness and wellness and understands the importance of taking care of one's body and mind.

Kara's focus is to customize each massage session to the needs of her client while centering on creating a welcoming, relaxing, and therapeutic environment for bodywork.
